Gel Printing using Leaves | DecoArt Americana

I recently treated myself to a gel printing plate, something I've had on my Amazon wishlist for a long time.
                          
Oh boy was this a good purchase! So much fun has been had just getting used to using the gel plate! 

This brings us to today's blog post, and a new series for this blog:

Star Trek Delta Shield | LGBT Pride

This weekend marked London Pride, the UK's largest event celebrating diversity and equality for our LGBT+ community.
                            

                 

As a member of the LGBT+ community myself, and of course a huge Star Trek fan, I combined the two in order to create this LGBT+ Pride Star Trek Delta!

Wreck This Journal | Fill This Page With Circles

Hello readers. I'm back today with another page in my Wreck This Journal, this time using the prompt "Fill This Page With Circles"
                            

             

I layered the background with circles from bottle caps along with fingerprints, and for the foreground I went with round(ish) objects, balloons!

           

Gelatos, acrylic paints and paint markers were all used in th making of this page.

Clay Tardigrade Sculpture | Star Trek Discovery

I'm sticking with the new Colorista Pad called "Enchanted Forest" this morning!

APRIL THE GIRAFFE

Hi folks! Today I'd like to share with you an art journal page featuring the one and only April!

Unless you've been living under a rock, you'll have heard about (or been obsessively watching!) April, the pregnant giraffe at Animal Adventure Park near Harpursville, New York in the US!
                            

                         
I've loved watching her and her mate Oliver as she prepares to bring a baby giraffe into the world!

                      

I hand drew and coloured April myself, and tried to approximate her markings too!
