Framing your colouring projects - With Bloobel Stamps!

Today I show you how to make the most of your colouring projects by displaying them with pride!

 Christmas is coming whether you like it or not and the digital stamp featured in this project is "Jolly Santa" by Bloobel Stamps.  I adore Lisa's quirky, fun style. She sure is one talented digital artist!
Sam Lewis shows how to frame those special colouring projects. Featuring Bloobel Stamps and Spectrum Noir Markers.

So, grab your coloured project, a frame (I picked mine up for a bargain at my local charity shop!) and some paint!

After giving the frame a coat of white gesso, paint it with red acrylic paint.  Then dry brush white gesso over the raised areas.

It really is THAT simple!

Wishing you a Hoppy Christmas...


Today I'd like to share a project made using a few of the freebies from  
CRAFTER'S INSPIRATION MAGAZINE (Issue 12).

Christmas Card by Sam Lewis, featuring freebies from Crafter's Inspiration Magazine (Issue 12). Coloured with Spectrum Noir Markers..
  
I created a simple scene from the rabbit and a few of the snowflakes, all of which are found on the free CD Rom! I then printed it onto Neenah Solar White Cardstock, and coloured it with my Spectrum Noir Markers. 

It sadly doesn't show on these photos but once I added the stars with white paint marker, I also added a little of the Clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen to the large stars.

S & C - Decoupaged Letters - Birthday Party Collection

My wife and I recently visited Crafter's Companion flagship store in Newton Aycliffe and WOWZA, what heaven it is for us crafters! (our spouses... not so much!! although they do have a cafe to keep them occupied whilst we browse!)
        
Anyway, whilst there I picked up these adorable paper mache letters!  So much fun and my wife loved it so an all round success!

CAS Card - Birthday Party Collection


Today I'd like to share a project made for using the 12x12 Paper from Sara Davies' "Birthday Party" collection by Crafter's Companion.

In addition to the usual gorgeous sheets of uncoated paper, the paper pad comes with pages of cardstock diecut toppers!

Other than a card blank, glue and a bit of thread, all the elements for this card came from the 12x12 Paper Pad.
