Tutorial Thursday #2 - Bubbles Frames

Tutorial Thursday again, and this time I have a tutorial on how to make my project from this fortnight's challenge over at That Craft Place.

Summary Process

 
Paint the back panels of each frame (one side and edges only). 

Also paint the edges of the frame pieces, plus the whole of the stand pieces. 

(TIP: Be careful to avoid painting the tabs on the stand pieces otherwise you may struggle to put the frame together later).

Trim and glue paper to the non painted sides of the back panels.

Fussycut all the pieces from the paper pad that you want to use. Also fussycut the coloured in digital images you are going to use.

Back to the back panel... Apply a generous coat of Ranger Crackle Accents to the whole paper surface with a brush. Leave to dry.

Using DecoArt Triple Thick Gloss Varnish, add to the flowers and other parts of the fussy cut bits.

(TIP: I also added Triple Thick to the girls hair bows and the boys stars on the digital images).

Glue the frame pieces to the back panel (I used Mod Podge).

Add all the elements to the front of the frames using Mod Podge, or where dimension is desired, Collall Glue Gel.

Once everything is dry glue the stands in place!
