That Craft Place - Shabby Chic challenge!

Good morning!  It is time for a new challenge over at the
That Craft Place challenge blog

This fortnight the theme is

SHABBY CHIC

I used the following materials / steps:
  
THAT CRAFT PLACE MDF / GREYBOARD: MDF Heart Plaque, Greyboard Feather, Greyboard Key

HEART: Primed with gesso and painted with acrylic pain in a dark colour.  Crackle technique then done with PVA glue and acrylic paint. I referred to the following tutorial on You Tube:


OTHER PRODUCTS USED: Distress Ink (Gathered Twigs), Archival Ink (Watering Can), gesso, acrylic paint, lace & crochet trims, clear stamp pad, gold embossing powder, hot glue, Pinflair glue gel, Glossy Accents, script and mini alphabet stamps.
  
Brown twine and old book pages from my own stash.

  8. What a gorgeous project!! I just love your wonderful neutral palette, so vintage! Your crackle background turned out phenomenal, excellent contrast! The touches of metallic really shine on the newsprint and the key and I just love the touch of lace and twine! Stunning!!
