Scrapbooking #1 - A new crafty obsession?

Have I found a new obsession to rival my Art Journaling?
                       
This week I ventured into the world of Scrapbooking!
              
At first I thought it would be terrifying, but with the help of Jen Fisher and her 12 Months of Scrapbooking series, I was able to dive right in and realise that scrapbooking is really not the scary alien craft people think!

           

For my first double page spread I took 2 of my favourite photos of my wife and I and paired them with the Love and Romance collection from the Sara Davies Signature Collections by Crafter's Companion.
                     

     
I made use of other dies too and even made a shaker element for the front of the page above.
     

         
I fussy cut the "You & Me" from the paper pad and layered it up on 3D glue gel to give dimension.
