Welcome to another of my blog posts showing you the wonderful pages I made as part of a wonderful book swap with 13 fellow crafters dotted all over the world!
More about this swap can be found in my Book Swap Introduction HERE.
So, onto the fifth page of 12! This page was for Jo Lovering using her chosen theme of HEARTS.
I used the following materials/steps for this page:
Background created using a home made spray ink and black spots stencilled using a Chalk Ink Pad in Charcoal.
Flowers stamped in the same chalk ink with a stamp that came with a magazine.
Faux stitching around the edge done with a Posca Paint Marker.
Heart cut from a thick piece of cardstock, as one piece for now. Embossed with a checkerboard embossing strip folder. Sprayed with the same home made spray ink. Honeycomb design stencilled with chalk ink in charcoal. Sentiment added to heart with a Posca Paint Marker over a patch of white Gesso. The raised areas left by the embossing folders were rubbed with Buff-It in Slate from That Craft Place.
